Accomplishing Database Generation

• Identify the Operational Database DBMS Schema
• Export the selected DBMS Schema in appropriate data definition language (DDL)
• Import the DDL into the Business Information System Generator
• Generate the initial business information system specification layer without regard to tuned business function and business event models
• Generate SQL DDL scripts from the initial business information system specification layer
• Submit the SQL DDL scripts to the chosen SQL DBMS
• Process the SQL DDL scripts to generate all appropriate DBMS tables, column, keys, relationships.
