Adjusting Business Missions

1. Acquire most recent Mission model.
2. Review the model to identify essentially duplicate mission statements.
3. Revise essentially duplicate mission statements to create super-types and subtypes as appropriate.
4. Determine if some mission nodes are better represented within network structures to eliminate unwarranted redundancy.
5. Eliminate any mission node statements that are just reshuffling of contained data.
6. Review mission node statements to ensure that all Who and How are removed.
7. Remove mission node statements to ensure that each is specified in terms of idealized outcomes.
8. Republish Mission model to functional experts and/or stakeholders.
9. Receive review and make appropriate adjustments.
