Promote Data Element Concept to
Concept

A Data Element Concept may have been mistakenly entered into the database when upon review it is really a concept that, in turn, could related to multiple data element concepts. In this case, the data element concept should be "promoted" so that it is a concept. This is accomplished by:

• Start the Data Element Metabase System Module
• Select the DBMS
• Enter User Name and Password
• Select the Menu Item, Promote Data Element Concept to Concept
• Select the Data Element that is to be promoted
• Select the appropriate Concept Structure Type Name
• Select the appropriate Concept within which the promoted Data Element Concept should reside.
• Process the promotion.
