ReAssign Data Elements to Value Domains

A Data Element may have been mistakenly assigned to a Value Domain and it needs to be assigned to a different Value Domain. Alternatively, there may have been the addition of a new Value Domain and one or more of a set of existing Data Element assignments need to be changed. In either case, this is accomplished by:

• Start the Data Element Metabase System Module
• Select the DBMS
• Enter User Name and Password
• Select the Menu Item, ReAssign Data Element to Value Domain
• Select the appropriate Move-From Value Domain Structure Type
• Select the appropriate Move-From Value Domain Structure
• Tag one or more Move-From Data Element that are to be moved to a different Value Domain
• Select the appropriate Move-To Value Domain Structure Type
• Tag the appropriate Move-To Value Domain Structure which will be the new host Data Element
• Press the Reassign button.
