ReAssign Value Domain Values to
Different Value Domain

One or more Value Domain Values may have been mistakenly assigned to a Value Domain and it needs to be assigned to a different Value Domain. Alternatively, there may have been the addition of a new Value Domain and one or more of a set of existing Value Domain Value assignments need to be changed. In either case, this is accomplished by:

• Start the Data Element Metabase System Module
• Select the DBMS
• Enter User Name and Password
• Select the Menu Item, ReAssign Value Domain Values to a Different Value Domain
• Select the appropriate Move-From Conceptual Value Domain Structure Type
• Select the appropriate Move-From Conceptual Value Domain Structure
• Select the appropriate Value Domain
• Tag one or more Move-From Value Domain Values that are to be moved to a different Value Domain
• Select the appropriate Move-To Conceptual Value Domain Structure Type
• Select the appropriate Move-To Conceptual Value Domain Structure
• Tag the appropriate Value Domain to which the values are to be moved
• Press the Reassign button.
