ReAssign Attributes to Entities

Attributes may have been mistakenly assigned to a wrong Entity and may need to be reassigned. This reassignment is accomplished by:

• Start the Subject Data Model Metabase System Module
• Select the DBMS
• Enter User Name and Password
• Select the Menu Item, ReEngineering, and then the subordinate menu item, ReAssign Attributes to Entities.
• Select Subject from the left tree list.
• Select Entity from the left tree list.
• Tag as many Move-from Attributes as appropriate
• Select a subject from the Move-to Subject list
• Tag one Entity that is be the ancestor host Entity for all the tagged Move-from Attributes.
• Press the button that reassigns the attribute reassign action
