DBMS Columns that have been mistakenly assigned to specific DBMS Data Types and may need to be re-assigned to a different DBMS Data Type. Re-assignment of a DBMS column's DBMS Data Type is accomplished by:
Start the Operational Database Model Metabase System Module
Select the DBMS
Enter User Name and Password
Select the Menu Item, ReAssign Column DBMS to DBMS Data Type
Select Database
Select the appropriate DBMS Schema
Select the appropriate DBMS Table
Select the one or more ReAssign-from DBMS Columns that are to have their DBMS Data Type Re-assigned
Tag the ReAssign-to DBMS Data Type
Press the button that reassigns the DBMS Data Type.
