Remove Attribute Meta Category Values

Attributes may have been assigned Meta Category values by mistake or that upon review should have been assigned to a common Data Element. Or in the case of promoting an Attribute to a Data Element, the Attribute's Meta Category Values would be removed from the Attribute and assigned to the Data Element.  The removal process is accomplished by:

• Start the Subject Data Model Metabase System Module
• Select the DBMS
• Enter User Name and Password
• Select the Menu Item, ReEngineering, and then the subordinate menu item, Remove Attribute Meta Category Values.
• Select Subject
• Select Entity
• Select an Attribute
• Select a Meta Category Value to be removed
• Press the Delete button.
