Remove Column Attribute Assignments

There may be a need to delete an Attribute. If there exists, however one or more already assigned Columns, the deletion process is not allowed. To accomplish the deletion of an Attribute, the assignments between Columns and Attributes have to be removed. This removal is accomplished by:

• Start the Implemented Database Model Metabase System Module
• Select the DBMS
• Enter User Name and Password
• Select the Menu Item, ReEngineering, and then the subordinate menu item, Remove Column Attribute Assignments.
• Select Schema
• Select Table
• Tag the Columns that are to have the Column to Attribute relationship removed.
• Press the Remove button that accomplishes the action
